And as you can tell from the blogpost title, we went to Botanic Gardens today!! Many many many photos today for your viewing pleasure! (: With my captions, if you bother reading, haha.

We got out from Botanic Gardens MRT station and arrived at the Bukit Timah Gate!

Spotted an orchid immediately after we went through the Bukit Timah Gate!!

Well there was another gate to pass so.. Haha

Butterflies! Matched the pin I had on my hair but you can't really see it from here, heh.

And while we were on our way to the destination *swan lake coughs* we saw this SUPER ULTRA BIG AND FLUFFAYE DOG!! I don't even know what breed this is but it's just awfully cute!! (L)

And there was this angmoh standing there with his pro camera and we're just like.. iPhone ftw hahaha.

We arrived at the National Orchid Garden! Near the Ginger Garden too.

But no money, so we just stood outside to take pix with the orchids. Pretty enough. Have been inside Orchid Garden before, so it's not a big deal for me hehe. I wonder if their student price (at an amazing $1) is still available rn!!

Still at the koi place. Found a few pinoys doing this and thought that it was quite a good idea after all. Hehe.

Continued to walk down and found this cute duck/bird in the pond!! The pond's really cloudy/dirty but it seemed as though it was enjoying itself waddling/drinking/bathing (k, god knows what it was doing, haha) in the pond.

Pardon the hearts hahaha. There was this strand of hair on my neck (would you have realised if I didn't tell you?) so we decided to take one more shot! LOL.

So here's one more. My chin looks really sharp because it has my black hair as the background lol.

These are like, slightly purplish but they don't appear as good on the computer compared to the phone! No idea why, meh.

So after much walking..

We managed to reach the swan lake and saw the two white swans!! Here's one of them! So graceful!

It then started raining so we decided to head back to the Bukit Timah Gate again.

Ok I know my flora photog skills are getting worse.. I swear it's the phone! Wished my eye was a camera so I could snap away every pretty thing I see! The iPhone kind of sucks sometimes.

It was still raining a little so here's Little Miss Umbrella with red and yellow flowers.

Oh god this would make a good colour blind test. With Red yellow and green. HAHAHA. Watch out.

I love how my bright green umbrella contrasts with the silver gate ^^ Pretty! Thankful that I wore slippers instead of flats else they'd be soaked in the rain. Planned on wearing the new pair of flats today but thankfully I didn't!! Else I'd regret it too badly..

Also met Ryan (Yuen) and his friends when they were in Island! Going there really brings back loads of NJ memories.. Even seeing NJCians, haha.

Yay. They didn't use to have the chocolate sauce drizzled on the last time I had it.. Which was a really long time ago!! But mayb that's the reason why it's $5.50 now instead of $4.80 HAHA.

Waoooo k that was a lot of copying and pasting of URLs from the facebook albums!! So tiring! Was also helping my dad update his iPod with songs of his generation so that took me quite a while.. Feeling tired but it's good that I get to look at these photos again! (:

It rained while we were walking on the way back, so it was quite a killjoy but nevertheless, we were happy people who headed for ice cream. Really pity those people who were stranded outside the station. They didn't even get the chance to go to Botanic Gardens before it started pouring like it was just now! At least we managed to see everything twice, lol :p Ice cream on rainy days, hehe.

Having said that, I'm pretty much broke now, even though t'was free entrance at Botanic Gardens. Going out with friends a lot next week, really have to save up more.. :/
