Tue; Christmas day!

Toenails for christmas! My pride and joy for the left leg 'cause it's also more difficult to do nail art on th right leg's toenails ): But anw here's my snowflake design hehehe

And my fingernails painted all red! Matching red w my hello kitty iPhone case's bow hehe ^^ Painted my fingernails red and green alternate but it didn't turn out well at all 'cause the green was pastel green. Failz. So I ended up removing all the green and just painting everything with red instead lol. Strikingly scary red it is.

Went to watch a Christmas performance entitled Forest of Dreams with nat, zc, px, feei. T'was quite a good performance! All of us went for Christmas lunch at Olive Vine tgt (another of zc's shops he's the ambassador for, lol)! I had al fungi spaghetti (there's a reason why I named the type of pasta and you'll find out soon) but I would still say that I prefer tomato-based pasta to cream-based or aglio olio. An exception at Tea Party tho, since their aglio olios are notably tastier.

So while others had turkey or log cakes for their Christmas dinner, my fam had curry chicken instead!! LOVE my mum's curry chicken omg I can never get sick of eating it over and over again!!

Had our curry chicken together with chapati, the healthier and less oily version of prata, haha. Everything still tasted really good though!

So that was how I spent my Christmas! (:

Wed; With the famfam ^^

They came over to my hse ytd for our movie session 2! (: Mum cleaned the house until t'was about 11pm on tuesday night just so the house could look more presentable to my friends, lol. But thanks to her help, everything managed to look sparkly clean! (Plus some of my sweeping in the morning before they came over too :p)

Were supposed to meet at 12pm at buona to have lunch tgt at ghim moh food center, but I got lazy 'cause I just got back home and I had to try to connect the cables to the TV and test out if everything could work before going to fetch them. Plus feei overslept so we ended up getting th guys to dabao for us (so good having guy friends who don't mind doing such stuffs LOL) and I went to fetch them at CCK!

Finallyyyyyy bought my gift for Christmas exchange too. Hope she likes it and will use it! Can't say the name here, hehe. Almost nearly blurted out the name to feei a couple of times!! Gosh.

Hawker fare ^^ Beef horfun, chwee kueh, cai tao kueh and rojak!!

The beef horfun and cai tao kueh were mad delish!! Got to bring my fam there to have some too!! Apparently everything at the food center is good, lol. I've only heard of it but I don't rmb any famous food there at all, lol. The chwee kueh was a tad bit salty for my liking, but I thought the rest of the food were really awesomeeeee.

Had gongcha and tauhuey (tauhuey is almost a ritual already) for dessert while watching the movie too (:

As you can see, these guys were having fun making feei look nua while I was trying to set up/zc was transferring the movie to my external hard disk, lol.

And she has attained this standard of nua-ness after all my soft toys/cushions were piled onto her, hahaha.

We caught SuckSeed, which is actl a Thai film but we watched it anyway because there were subtitles. The Thai songs were really not bad too!! So when the movie ended, feei said she wanted to use the washroom and I followed her (kinda unknowingly) to the kitchen area too. Then she was giving me that look so we opened the fridge to get the cakes and tried to light the candles. Feei actl arrived slightly earlier than the guys but she went over to delifrance to get the cake, thanks so much!!

Ok but the sad thing was that t'was especially windy at my hse ytd and the wind kept blowing out our lit candles ): We were already just 1m away from zc (their backs were facing us) when the wind blew the flame off the cake feei was holding. So the both of us fled back to the kitchen to try to light the candles again, but it went off one after another so we took quite a long time trying to light them up..

And just then..

THE BIRTHDAY BOY ENTERED THE KITCHEN

Haha epic stuff. I realised that whenever birthday surprises always fail when they are related to me, lol. Omg. K so despite him crashing his own surprise, we sang him a birthday song after we finally managed to get both the candles lit and made him sit down to make his wishes!

Trying to look happy for the camera. Hahaha but I bet his insides are all bursting with happiness and excitement and warmth and love HAHA. Him with two mini cakes! 2 candles because he claims that he is "still twenty" (trying to act young) HAHA but not for long!!

Hehe took a close up shot of one of the cakes, which wasn't artistic at all but it's just for memory's sake, haha. 

Yay good shot!! Managed to capture the moment of him blowing out the candles hahaha and you can still see a wisp of smoke from the candle on the right side lol. Pretty good skillz huh. Okay who am I tryna kid.

Got my bro out of his room (sorry for disturbing you so many times with the technical difficulties and bringing food in to your room) to help us take a family photo! Yay happy people we are ^^ Had to head off before my mum reached home and also 'cause I had another meeting w my 04 girls for dinner. So off we go~~!

Wed; 04 Girls' Night In (LOL) @ Shouj's!! :D

Went to shouj's (glad I wasn't the latest, HAHAHA) 'cause she prepared dinner for us!! Was originally pretty excited to play her guzheng but I got lazy 'cause she said it might not be tuned, which means I have to tune the strings on my own, LOL. TOO LAZY LAH. Was really engrossed in Mak's stories anw hehe. Lou couldn't make it 'cause she was down w fever, ohboy, missed her so much!! Also forgot to bring my almond biscuits so I really hope we can meet once more w everyone so I can pass them the foodie ^^

The first thing that caught my eye when I reached shouj's dining table!! All of us took one home in the end (: It looks so cute omg she hand-carried them back all the way from London so she could let us have some!! She was telling us about how she couldn't reach the overhead stowage compartment while she was wearing her white boots and there was this kind lady who offered to help her take her stuff down. So nice!!

Shouj actually cooked pasta for us!! She's a chef I tell you!!!!!!! Ohmigod and as you can see, this is actually angel's hair pasta with MUSHROOMS hahaha, which was what I had ytd but I think shouj's version is even nicer than the restaurant's!! It tasted good because it didn't seem as though she relied upon the pasta sauce but the flavours of the individual ingredients were brought out really well. Omgsh I should go about writing food reviews already eh? HAHA.

We had another two dishes- bread topped w tuna, and chicken, of which the latter kinda prepared by shouj's aunty ^^ She's such a nice woman! Must be missing shouj and her brother when they're overseas studying..

Jiayi finally arrived after we finished having the main course, so we went out to fetch her together!! When they came to fetch me at the taxi stand of AMK Hub, I was still plugged in blasting my music when they reached, HAHA. When I finally looked up 'cause strangers were coming my way to tell me that my friends were calling for me, I saw those girls on the car waving ever so frantically at me. So embarrassing omg they must've been screaming my name and waving for ages and I didn't respond at all, HAHAH. OOPS SORRY GIRLS.But thankfully the same didn't happen to Jiayi and she spotted us pretty quickly! 

Janell brought tiramisu she made on her own!! Gosh it tasted so delish all of us entered heaven when we had our first bite. Omg I really need to get my hands on the recipe! Janell made it sound so easy to make because all you have to do is to add two layers together and pop them into the fridge and ta-dah, it's done. How on earth is that possible!! Hahaha we were so amazed while eating and listening to Mak's tales. LOLOL. Her life is ever so interesting omgsh.

Since shouj's house has mirrors aplenty, we had to take photos!!

Lovely 04 girls photo outside shouj's music room that houses her pianos, guitar and guzheng. This room has the air-con turned on 24/7 for her musical instruments! I remember going to her house once to do cards for our OG members 'cause we were OGLs tgt awwww. This was the last photo we took before we headed home.

Shouj was such a good driver omg, she's like my motivation to drive well! Though I haven't exactly driven in months, but I guess I'll have to give it a try soon! She's really good at it and I can see why she passed haha. Everything was smooth on her ride, and our safety could be assured even if we didn't put on the safety belts, haha! She drove us back to AMK Hub when we left her home too (: So sweet of her especially 'cause t'was already almost 11.30pm..

Gosh I haven't even driven once at night before hahahahaha such a loser

Will miss all these friends till I see them again next year! 2012 is finally coming to an end, even though the world didn't. Haha.
