Cooked soba for lunch w bro today! He came home surprisingly early from his 2d1n chalet so I had to prepare lunch for him too haha. This was even easier to prepare than the kind of instant noodles you have to cook from the packet lol, 'cause you don't even have to add any seasoning and just use the japanese soba sauce for flavour. The soba appears pretty sticky in the photo 'cause I left it in the fridge for too long.. Forgot that noodles tend to stick together when I leave them alone LOL. Never mind, my bro should've been appreciative of my cooking, for he would otherwise have cup noodles for lunch, haha.

So after slacking/napping for a while he headed out to the sports council to collect his stan chart marathon volunteer transport reimbursement. Thought they would be kind enough to deliver the cheque to our house but they notified them to collect the cheques themselves instead.. So weird haha. Thankfully I wasn't a volunteer, else my transport to mountbatten would already have cost quite a fair bit.. 

I went out slightly later to meet emma and zhiying (cannot call him melvin anymore, he go everywhere change english name one haha) at dhoby for our dinner date! Haven't met them in aaages! We wanted to meet on deepavali but emma wasn't free when the date was nearing.. ): It's pretty thankful that zhiying interns in science park 'cause he gets to meet emma every now and then (if he makes the effort to walk there, lol).

So as you can see, we had our dinner at dhoby exchange's Just Acia! T'was zhiying's suggestion a looong time ago (when I was still working, mind you), and emma remembered even until now. Not too bad for free flow of drinks and ice cream huh? I remember the last time I had Just Acia was at marina square and there was literally no one inside the shop.. And you could only choose either free flow of ice cream or free flow of one type of beverage. Now they don't really care and give you free flow of both and any kind of beverage lolz. Times have changed..

@wearmycyanbra (please don't lol at his instagram username like I did hah) ordered some cheese and dory fish set which I didn't take a pic of haha. Him and his gigantic phone omg. It's a pity he only has 2GB of data plan now hehehe. Ok hopefully he doesn't ever search for his ig user on google else my blog will appear and I'll be exposed for laughing at him HAHA.

Dumplings were but one of the side dishes we ordered haha. The other was the samosa. Didn't taste too bad haha.

The pricing was really reasonable, I remember the other time we went to manhattan fish market (t'was during their fish and chips sales and we queued like mad while waiting for emma to come, lol) the bill amounted to $60+ for 4 people, but this time t'was only about $39 for the 3 of us. Not too bad huh? Considering that we ordered not only mains but sides too. T'was emma's treat today hehe ;)

Spent like 3 hours eating and talking with these two people haha. They're still the same! Feels as though nothing has changed haha. Emma still feels like our mama and zhiying still feels (and looks HAHAHA) older than I am, though he's younger than me 1 month and 1 day hahaha. Thought we were about to leave when emma received her phone call and mentioned that she'd be "leaving soon". But once we got started talking about e2i, the topics were never-ending, lol. I pity zhiying, he must've been there listening to us two females yakking on and on forever hahaha!! Intern at DNV, confirm not many girls one. Haha!

Seems as though e2i is still the same, ever as busy. Adrian sounds the same too, haha! Shariff's gone now and replaced by a female malay staff. Can totally sense emma's angst when she talked about the temp staff she recruited haha! Super funny the way she was frustrated. Guess if I were still working there, I'll die from all the calls regarding the class 3 training fair too. Thankful that I left during the period where calls about class 3 increased exponentially, lol. Can't believe they're still receiving such enquiries now, LOL. Don't think I dare to go back there to work anymore hahahaha (!!!)

Checked the calendar and realised it was 1 year and 2 days since I started work at e2i. How time flies! Well this also means 1 year and 2 days since I've known you.. (Autoplay some Gotye: Now you're just somebody that I used to know). But anw, it was a great night spent with these two people. We still have so much (in common) to talk about even after so long (': Although it's all about driving when I was on 190 home with @wearmycyanbra hahaha. Sorry, can't help but laugh everytime I tag him HAHA.

Today's face! No more couple selcas so I guess I'll have to make an appearance on my own )': Sobz but nvm. Face looks really dark here haha but everyone's said I've grown skinnier and less tanned. What d'you expect from someone who's studying and hvnt been exercising hahaha. Contradicts with the skinnier part but mehhhh.

Have been wearing this owl necklace waaaay too many times this week. Works well since I'm going out with different groups of friends everyday HAHA. Kinda reflects my lack of necklaces for my readers though, hahaha. Tsk, now y'guys know what to get for my bday ehhhh ;) LOLZ I'm kidding hahaha. I'd be happy if I could even celebrate my bday on that faithful saturday for make up lessons ): Le sobsxz.

Have managed to meet most of the people I wanted to meet this holiday, yay. Haven't met up with a707 though. Seems as tho there'd be at least one perso who's not free when the meeting time is set ): Really difficult to meet up with so many people at once, especially when we often insist that there has to be full attendance haha. Hope that I'll get to meet these girls soon, else it'll only get harder when we all start school again.

Ah so this was how I spent my last weekday before the second sem starts next monday! Still haven't gotten all my textbooks, kinduv screwed haha. Dieeeeeeee. And as the term begins again I guess I'll be blogging less and less often.. Await my daily posts again in May! (: It'll be fortunate if I can even draw time to blog when I'm studying.. )':
