The mass dance for 2013's orientation! After Check Yes Juliet ended I was wondering why there were like 3mins+ to go and came to realise that they actually included Summer Nights after their mass dance! Like wow pretty impressed by how they did all the wallow-wallow-wallow-whoosh part barefooted and with all the retro outfit hahah. The suspenders were too cute omg. Found myself dancing to Summer Nights in no time hahah, too nostalgic!! But anw if we didn't synchro well for our dance Jeremy would kill us and make us redo up a hundred times hahaha. I remember us getting screened by ttw pair-by-pair the night before the actual day of the mass dance session lol.
Oh and they're quite conservative too haha like all the female dancers in shorts had to wear black, near-opaque leggings LOL T'wasn't as bad during our time 'cause they only made the new councillors wear the school's PE shorts for all their PE lessons i.e. FBTs were not allowed. Weird indeed but nvm haha. Guess they're just getting stricter and stricter as the years go by.

Kinduv miss being so active in a CCA. Made so many new friends and had so much time with them. Well there obviously was a price to pay for all the fun I had - the late nights spent staying in school to complete ad-hoc duties, and definitely how I became negligent in my studies ): Bore too much resentment especially after I saw how upset my parents became.. So I made it a point to concentrate on just studies for the rest of my years to be spent in education. I might have achieved results that I'm happy about, but what is it that differentiates me from the rest who can study well too?
The reason why I managed to get accepted by all three schools was probably because of my active involvement in CCAs when I was in JC and not because of my grades. But till now, I don't have the courage to take up anything else lest it eats into too much of my time for studying ): Too afraid of falling once more. My uni life sounds pretty boring uh?
Parents think it's really easy to get funded by a scholarship but they often forget how the process sifts out those who are not only academically inclined but are also actively involved in CCAs. Only the multi-talented from the cream of the crop who have what it takes to survive in this competitive, Singapore education regime. Which is perhaps just not me.

Speaking of which, school's in again tmrw. Received an email from the macro prof saying that he's uploaded the slides on eLearn and went to take a look only to realise that he's uploaded the entire syllabus' slides already. Insane prof omg. Have been printing for almost 3 hours already and I'm finally on to the last set of lecture notes. Yeah, I print all my notes at home and flip the page by page so I can get what I call "manual duplex printing". Manual duplex, haha. Please don't laugh at the contradiction I've just provided /.\
Oh, and so screwed because I conveniently printed all the slides in b&w, including the slides that contain different graphs on one axis. How am I to differentiate the new and old graphs?! Guess I've got to do some colouring/outlining on my own already.
