初二: CNY Day 2! ❞ ♡ Friday, February 15, 2013

(Well I hope you've read the cny day 1 post before seeing this else it wouldn't make sense haha)

Andddd here's mummy's reply the next morning (or rather, afternoon)! I got up and went to wash up before reading her new note on the fridge haha. Guess I've learnt to be more expressive and I'm starting to shower people with more and more words of appreciation (:

#ootd on cny day 2! (:

Took this photo at homeeeeee. Wearing the kitty watch and the new necklace!! Finally got to wear it! Mad loveeeee. Forever wearing this shade of red for cny, but I can't seem to bring myself to wear this shade of red out other than cny LOL.

GUESS WHO DROVE TO SENGKANG!!

Heh, it's almost 7 months since I've gotten my license and it's prolly only my 5th time driving this car..? Haven't driven in ages, yet I was feeling more excited than scared when I sat on the driver's seat. Prolly exhibiting the inner guy in me, haha. The weather was on my side ('cause it didn't rain, yay) and the traffic was pretty smooth! Managed to get my entire family to my relatives' place safely in abt 30min+! Much faster than before cause I had to stick to 60km/h in the 4th lane the other time -.- Hit more than 80km/h, feeling so accomplished abt that!

Ok anddddd what's more, I parked the car this time round (!!!!!) Sorry if I sound too excited, but I really am proud of myself because it seems like my judgment abilities have improved tremendously, even though I haven't taken the wheel since forever. Daddy parked the car the other time 'cause I was too scared to do so haha. Quite stressful this time too, 'cause I was parking beside my relatives' car omg. Nevertheless, look how straight I parked the car in just one reverse attempt!!!!! Didn't even need to change to D and adjust omg #proudofmyself !!

Requested for them (daddy and bro) to help me take photos HAHA.
The walkway proved to be a good place for ootd photos, heh! ;)

Ok another one

A shot with mummy too, since we were all decked out in red!
Love the fact that we bought our shoes from the same shop in Macau and dresses from the same shop in sg as well!! Mummy looking ever so youthful ^^

Men's shot #1

Men's shot #2 'cause daddy says people look taller when you bend down to take the photo for them. Which is indeed true because they seem to have longer legs in this second photo HAHA.

Yesss it's time for round 2 of lohei!!

Definitely not forgetting sashimi topped on the yusheng hehe. The sashimi was still frozen when we had dinner, so we had to wait for it to defrost fully before eating.

Check out the same style of broccoli arrangement!!
Clams, scallops and healthy greens in this dish! (:

Ohmy these prawns were huge too! I think they learnt from our mistake of stir frying the prawns that they decided to steam them instead. Good choice! Could totally taste the succulence and freshness of the prawns! (Ok sorry we have no other better adjectives to describe prawns 'cause the good ones were all used in day 1 HAHA).

*******

The younger generation watched Lorax before the dinner started (except for my bro who was busy being studious and doing his vectors homework. Good boy). It was such a good animated film! I wonder if the kids who caught th film actually understood the meaning behind the entire movie.. I guess it's really obvious for us who're young but not that young.

Spent the rest of the evening/night playing mahjong as usual! Helped mummy win quite a bit while she was busy talking and giving advice. Won 3x and zi mo-ed 2x omg so proud of myself!! Was the only young girl at the mahjong table with my dad and the aunties and uncles HAHA. But I'd be too conceited to claim that my fast reflexes (still young, haha) beat their many years of experience in this game, haha. T'was prolly just luck HAHA.

*******

Left their house after midnight. Now here's yet another accomplishment: I DROVE BACK HOME AT NIGHT! That was my first experience at night driving (yeah, I only went for lessons in the day when I was a learner) and I must say it actually isn't very different from driving in the day, haha. Quite happy with the improvement I've made even without practice.

The only part I hated was that I parked the car on the 3rd level so I had to go round and round down the slopes 3x before I could reach the first level.. Going down th slopes were harder than going up omg!

K I'd better stop talking about driving else it'd bore non-drivers out, haha. Shan't steal the limelight from cnyyyyy~

P.S. Should have taken a photo of my cousin's shoe rack of Ferragamo & Prada heels omg. (Yup, the cousin w the rolex watch haha!). To die for.
