Helped mummy with some chores on saturday (: Thank god mummy wasn't in a bad mood throughout the entire cny so she was still pretty merry doing all the chores even though she was already having backaches and all. The whole family helped out in the spring cleaning this cny! ☺

For e.g., I helped to squeeze limes! Didn't bother counting how many limes I hand-squeezed but they amounted to this much juice!! My right hands' fingers were literally wrinkled up, and my rash on the left hand's index finger got attacked so badly by the citrus even though I barely touched the juice omg.

Steamboat/hotpot for reunion dinner!

Egg tofu / Enoki mushrooms / Ultra huge scallops
Ultra huge prawns / Yumz / Abalone
Thinly-sliced pork / More mushrooms / Fishballs, Pork balls and Fish maw

The prawns, scallops and pork slices were the highlights of the meal. I've never had such succulent prawns in my entire life hahaha. Can you see the size of the prawn compared to my daddy's hand?! And the scallops too- always had the small, dried and chewy kind, but the meat was just so thick yet surprisingly tender ö

OH AND THE SOUP AT THE END WAS SO DELISH I CAN'T EVEN --

My fam has reunion dinner only with the nuclear family and has dinners on days 1 & 2 with the extended family! (: We'll be visiting the last family this saturday! (Pssst, the date's 16th feb, wonder if there's anything special lined up for my cous and I who are exactly 10 years apart, hahaha)

Went on to arrange the cny goodies on the coffee table in preparation for tmrw! (:

Daddy's proud of the first snack in the picture 'cause it's his Hainanese childhood snack that his colleague got for him, hahaha. It's deep-fried and really hard but I guess the older generation (both my aunts married hainanese men) love it a lot because it brings back memories from their childhood, haha.

More yummy snacks made by my cousin! (: She can take over my aunt as the future baker&maker of all these snacks already. She's good at it! She made earl grey flavoured cookies as well! Was trying to figure out what the flavour was when I had it 'cause I didn't know they were earl grey flavoured to begin with, lol.

So here's me on the fresh new sheets we changed for cny! Bro's sheets are gold-coloured, haha. Not the sparkly gold kind but it exudes a certain extent of grandeur, still. Room looks kinda pinkish now :p
