Ok I won't explain again since people should've seen from my fb, but for the sake of those who haven't, here's what happened on the night when I got home on my birthday:
Went to my relatives’ place for the final cny dinner of the year, followed by a birthday celebration for my cousin and I. When I reached home past midnight with my family, I went into my room and continued replying to the birthday wishes on my fb wall, thinking that it’d probably be the last thing I’d do before going to bed.
In midst of the silence at that time of the night, I heard voices break out into a chorus of happy birthday. I whirled around and saw the westies- Faie Gfw with a candlelit birthday cake in hand, accompanied with Zhuo Hongda and Sungyeh Ho who followed close behind. I couldn’t tell whether I was more overwhelmed by shock or happiness, but I must say that that was the first time people have ever managed to successfully surprise me at my house (and at that time too, haha) :D Appreciate everything and love y’all, westies! ♥
Here’s a big thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes, and for making my 20th birthday such a memorable one (:
P.S. I’ll need to thank Michael Han too, for the surprise would not have been a success without his covert collaboration with feei :p
Wow I'm impressed haha. Didn't know that the links of the names tagged can lead you to the profiles even after you've copied and pasted the words in here. Cool.
But back to the story- it was really a genuine surprise for me 'cause I was just chilling in my room and I suddenly heard a group of people singing me a happy birthday song, haha. Check out the photos below and you'd see how shocked and happy I was!! Majority of the photos at the beginning are from feei's instagram!
I remember the 04 girls trying to surprise me for my birthday the other time at my place too, but their surprise was ruined 'cause my mum actually called to tell me that some of my friends were over at my house with a cake, haha. So proud of my mum/myself for not ruining my own surprise (like I always used to :p) this time ;)
If you had read the previous post, bro actually went over to the mahjong table to join the adults because he had to tell my parents about the plan when feei texted him about it. Apparently all my relatives knew about the surprise that was planned, so only I was kept in the dark. This was probably the main reason why I was led to thinking that my birthday celebrations would end once I leave my aunt's place lol!

So they actually came into my room with the cake haha. Was made to pose, wish, and blow out the candles in my room while standing up HAHAH. If you've noticed, I wasn't carrying the cake while I was making the wish, so..
There was hongda, the cake table!! Hahaha cui photo la omg.
Can even see my pomelo skin hanging on my window grill LOL. Supposedly to chase away insects! Don't think it has done a great job 'cause I still see ants running around my table.. Well maybe it's better for larger insects like grasshoppers/beetles 'cause I don't really see them around in my room anymore! :D
Happy jiali is happy. Too surprised that these people actually came over at 1am to celebrate my birthday *touched*
All smiles when I was cutting the cake for them, hehe.
SECOND CAKE OF THE NIGHT OMG.
Probably the first time ever that I've eaten two different cakes on the same day. Was so full from the dinner, dessert and cake at my aunt's place already! And I came home to this, haha. The tiramisu cake tasted really awesome though! Even better than the chocolate truffle cake I had w my relatives earlier on! Happyyyyyy! :D
Offered the westies cny goodies too, and brought them around for a tour of my house haha. I bet my bed has left a deep impression 'cause it's queen sized and they assumed that I'll take up barely one-tenth of the bed when I lie down. Which is not true okay. Hahaha.
They received an angpow each from my mum too! If they're going to surprise me at my house every year, (which happens to be close cny usually), they'll probably be getting angpow money that is enough to cover the costs of the cake, hahahaha. Am I thinking like an economist already? ;)

Bro is so much better than daddy when it comes to alignment!!! We're all in the middle for this shot!
For every instax we've taken, we need one for feei to instagram. HAHA.

Was made to wear my specs too, 'cause all of them wore specs. I bet it's sungyeh's secret plan somehow, hahaha.
They even made me a card/note each!! And they placed it in a nice envelope they decorated too. DO I EVEN NEED TO TELL YOU HOW SWEET THESE FRIENDS ARE OMG. Was smiling throughout while I was reading their notes!! :D Ily'all westies too! ♥
So that concludes my 20th birthday surprise with the westies!
