(Wednesday)

Epic shit happened hahaha. I remember setting my alarm at 815 and 830am on tuesday night before I went to bed, and when the first alarm rang, I didn't really bother much about waking up and turned off the alarm. The next time I woke up and my eyes met the clock, I saw 1155. Freaking had the greatest shock of my life omgz. Yeah so that was how I skipped the first ever lecture in my uni life. There goes 2% off my overall grade, which I'm pretty sure I'll regret upon seeing my BGS grade.

Had to go to school anyway, 'cause Nat's present was with me, and it was his birthday! Shopped with feei for his present on tuesday after our lessons, and I swear we had such a hard time looking for gifts for him! D: Didn't know what to buy even after circling the cathay and plaza sing so many times lol. Glad he appreciated the gifts though (: Hope he had a great one~

Met the rest of the CT group at city hall mrt station and headed over to marcus' place, which was all the way at pasir ris. SO FAR FROM CCK OMG. But he has a really really cute female schnauzer named pepper, so I guess it made up for the difference in distance of our homes. Hehe! So cute that I can't help but stroke her, even though I'm kinduv scared of touching animals for the fear of them biting/licking/scratching me haha.

L-R: tamara, me, faisal and eugene
Tamara's half-chinese, half-austrian ANDDD faisal's half-chinese, half-malay.
HOW COOL IS THAT YO ;)
Can't believe we have two mixed blood people in our group, and they actually look totally chinese hehhh.

I was supposed to be an indian mum (and tamara's my indian daughter), and I hope you could tell from my dressing/get up, hahaha. The pink scarf was s'posed to be my sari, and I even made the effort to bring the few golden bangles I have and wore them for the filming.

I really can't act for nuts, so I hope my CT classmates won't end up laughing at me and my awkwardness too much. I look so lost at the beginning of the filming process, hahaha. Can't believe I'm laughing at myself now. Don't know where I can hide my face on the actual day of the presentation and video-screening.. Sobsob.

Taught them the (chorus of the) dance too!! I think they were quite afraid after they saw the parts before the chorus, but I guess the chorus' really much catchier and they learnt the steps really quickly! Quite amazed at how fast they picked the dance up 'cause I took really long to practice and finish learning the dance x.x

Really need their help to incorporate the elements of the other culture though.. ):

Hehe so here's a sneak preview of what the CT classmates/ta/prof will get to enjoy on the actual day itself!!

Took us really long to video and prepare the food! Guess most of the credit has to go to marcus (and his maid, definitely), 'cause I'm just a calefare indian mum who's supposed to be really blur so she gets her face burned by the steam every time she opens the wok, hahaha. V dumb a role luh, but since it's for the group.. REALLY CANNOT ACT OMG SO PAISEH. I hope the CT classmates don't judge me after watching the video. Or maybe the dance can help to salvage my reputation (I hope).

):

Came home to some warm soup that daddy made warm for me before he went to bed. Saw this on the front page of digital life and got kinda sad haha. How are the kids in the next generation ever going to understand what life was like with msn! I remember my fam was using a dial-up modem when I was in primary school, and they only changed to the normal modem when I was in secondary school haha. All the secondary school memories/conversations.. Ah well.
