Hoshino Coffee with zc! :D ❞ ♡ Thursday, August 15, 2013

(5 Aug, Monday)

Met mel for yong tau foo at yewtee 'cause we were both craving for it mwhaha. Fat die us with all the fried food we ordered. Was late 'cause I spent my morning watching zhi zai si fang on xinmsn LOL. Woke up really really early at 5.50am that day 'cause I thought mal'd have to go for outfield early in the morning, only to realize that he needed to set off at 11am.. Spent the rest of my time whatsapp-ing him instead of sleeping. 9gag's crude way of putting it:

I was being nice and waited for mel to be done and that evil dude disabled my iPhone for 1min + 5min + 15min + 1hour. The one hour was the last straw man seriously. Whacked him profusely 'cause I was supposed to meet up with zc at 3.30pm and he disabled it for 1 hour at arnd 2.30pm.. I think I whacked him a little too hard and people at the 190 queue turned around and gave me judging looks as though I was an abusive little sister of his'. Coincidentally met my P6 form teacher (oh god why) in the queue for 190 and it was.... Nothing short of embarrassing. Ugh.

Slept all the way on 190 'cause I was so tired after waking up so early in the morning.. Finally managed to meet zicong at ps' extension! Went to Hoshino Coffee for tea and sat there and talked all the way till dinner as well (:

My iced coffee!
So cute 'cause the sugar syrup and milk came in their separate small metal cups haha.
Added everything inside anw LOL.

There was something cool (literally) about their hand dripped iced coffee 'cause of the cup haha. It's a copper cup with high thermal conductivity that allows your coffee to remain cold throughout. But uh, not quite worth the money 'cause the coffee only tasted average..

Zc's clam chowder with toast

The clam chowder could have been a little thicker but.. The toast was really out of the world. T'was so soft and fluffy!!!! Zc tried it first and his eyes lit up so he told me I had to try it too haha. Took one bite and that was it. It's no wonder the toast itself costs $3.80 (before gst homg)..

Spent a really long time talking to zc about life and heard about his experiences with God. Thankful for him 'cause he was a really good listener (with his pokerface and all haha), and for his words of wisdom and guidance (: It's been so long since I cried while talking my heart out to someone haha. Could tell that he really wanted to influence us for our own good, and the things he said were really logical, but.. I think I'll still view things from a secular point of view for now.

Continued htht-ing till dinner time:

My pescatora seafood with tomato sauce

Zc's carbonara with yolk and bacon

Their pasta was.. Heavenly omg. I didn't expect such a big portion (relative to their sides/desserts) for their mains! Finished my pasta surprisingly quickly and was sooooo darned full after that.. I've got to say that this is really one of the best pasta I've had!! ö

Also met joe on 190 home! He boarded one stop before me and started waving in my face (lol) as I walked towards the middle of the bus where he was standing. Haven't met this guy in aaaages! Surprised to have met him on a monday night 'cause I thought he would prolly be in camp.. Different sergeants really lead drastically different lives.. Cannot wait to see this guy in smu next year! (:

So many people are shifting soon ): They'll be in th same area though haha, so I'll prolly still be able to see them around.

Check out my pretty nails btw- White daisies (those on my right hand srsly look bad lol so here's my left hand) over 2 coats of essence's That's What I Mint! The colour's slightly duller irl though. Pink china glaze in the background for my toe nails~

Ok jiali looking silly with her new nails hehe
