Club Med Bintan - Day 4 ❞ ♡ Sunday, December 29, 2013

(10 December, Tuesday)

Last few moments in the hotel room so I decided to take a pic and the contrast with the black solid lines turned out pretty good :D

Banana trees along the sheltered route of the hotel. The architect's really smart 'cause the sheltered route links every single facility within the resort and it's so obscure that you can't even see the sheltered pathway from the beach.

The whole environment's pretty relaxed actually (: Wished I could have these sofas in my own home too omg.

Daddy took this photo and I was really amazed 'cause you could even see the reflection of the sky in the water omg. That place is actually dry when there's no rain, but I think it happened to rain earlier in the morning when we were still sleeping, that's why this place's filled with water.

Hainanese chicken rice for lunch! The executive chef (the one whom we found out was Hainanese) was really proud of it and told us that we couldn't miss this before we leave the island. So it was the first thing we went to queue for when we reached the restaurant

There were so many singaporeans in the queue hahaha I wonder why. We get to eat this back at home anw. The chef lauded this hainanese chicken rice and claimed for it to be better than that in sg, but I kinda beg to differ haha. I think my aunt cooks better hainanese chicken rice than this. Either that or I'm too used to the kind of chicken rice cooked by my hainanese aunt mwhaha

Eclairs! A pity they weren't stuffed with chocolate cream, else I'll be in loveeeee

Choux a la creme, not fantastic.

Draft beer on the last day 'cause my bro wanted to experience how it was like to pull the lever from the beer dispenser lmao

All my desserts makin' me fat, but it's my last meal there already so I didn't really care hahaha

While waiting for the coach to come to fetch us back to the ferry terminal

One last pic 'cause I really think this view's breathtaking when the sun's shining really brightly

Last drink at the Panorama bar. It's a pity we only tried the mocktails on the last day, 'cause the combination of different juices actually did taste pretty good. We tried oasis (I forgot oops) and sunshine (orange juice, apple juice and passionfruit juice). Refreshing ^^

Uh #likealadyboss

#likeathaiprince

Were you expecting thai princess??? No hahahaha

Mummy and I are wearing the same shirt btw lolol

Aye, this is the reason why I don't trust other people to take photos.. Too dark. But at least we have a family photo on the very last day ~~

At the counter to make bookings for their spa. There was this group package deal that was offered to us (S$40 for 30mins) but we didn't go for it in the end 'cause we were just.. Too lazy hahaha

Dark but I'm too lazy to edit 'cause there are too many postsssss

Okay and yep this was the last photo I took while I was on the coach!

It's quite cool 'cause all the GO's who're free'll come out and form two lines and start clapping to the music and waving goodbye to us. Even the executive chef came to say goodbye! There were more GO's who were standing at the entrance of club med bidding us farewell, and one of the more memorable ones was the pilates/yoga GO who raised his right leg up with his right hand and waved us goodbye with his left hand ö And also the two GOs who started running after the bus trying to hold us back hahaha.

The whole 4d3n wasn't a bad experience after all 'cause we got to try stuff that we wouldn't have tried had we stayed in sg. But 4 days was kinda long 'cause the activities got boring and we didn't feel like repeating them over and over again. The food for every meal was almost always good, and the GOs really did make it feel as though we're at home.
