Msia 2013 - Days 3 & 4 ❞ ♡ Wednesday, January 8, 2014

(27 December, Friday)

3rd day was the day we got to wake up late following two hectic days of travelling around, so we got up just in time for brunch!

Msia's hakka yong tau foo is still the best. You can actually taste the mixture of pork and fish meat (others use salted fish) in this one, which my entire family really liked  Daddy added on a bowl of fish ball soup (there were ten in them and only five were remaining when I took this photo haha) too. Tasted like saitoh fish balls..

Went to the supermarket near my aunt's place and mummy bought 600rm worth of stuff/groceries just because they were cheap(er than in sg). See, cheap stuff accumulated is still expensive, LOL.

Check out the petai omg that's my finger for comparison

So pretty plz

Aloe vera SO HUGE. My mum's aloe veras can never grow like my relatives'...

Had enough time slacking around so we went back fishing again!

So much love for the skies there

Check out the mother cat and its kitten! There's one and...

Here comes the other!

Hehe y u so cutie

The kittens are obsessed with marbles haha. They start chasing around whenever they hear the slightest bounce of marbles on the floor.. My cousin has cleverly attached a rubber band to the marble and a twig so she can move the marble more quickly than the kittens can catch haha

D'aww it's licking itself. That's my bro's hand stroking it btw.
The kittens are really skinny eh )':

Hi mother cat. Forever snooping around near the pond, trying to snatch fishes that we fish up away from us

This was where we had dinner! They're famous for their bbq crab haha, y'guys will get to see it later

Their chilli sauce had such an interesting/tangy taste everyone was trying to figure out what they mixed it with haha

I love this veg hahaha

Lala (not much in the plate...)

Ee-mian

Hokkien mee

Butter squid (I've tasted better but the deep fried curry leaves were pretty addictive hahaha)

Here's the bbq crab! Pretty flavourful but I think I still prefer the traditional flavours like black pepper/chilli crab hehehe

(28 December, Saturday)

Ultra huge jackfruit from their plantation!

Bfast was roti canai! I think they did it really well 'cause the outside was a little crispy while the inside layers were fluffy! I felt that there were a little too many layers though.. Also, their curry isn't exactly curry.. They say it's made from dhall (a type of pea) with chilli in the middle. Tried their teh tarik but it was pretty meh

******

Left Mantin after heading back and collecting our luggages and headed back home. But before that, we went around JB to shop/hunt for food to eat! Had our dinner at KSL's seoul garden! :D

While waiting for our food to cook (hence the clean plates lol)

Foodie

Ok the flower crab wasn't good but we tried it anyway hahaha

I think my favourite part was the korean music playing while we were dining HAHA. Seoul garden, geddit. So stuffed that I couldn't really walk after the buffet!! Goodness. Their seoul garden isn't much different from singapore's, but the prices are, so it was definitely more worth it to have a buffet dinner there.
