(12 December, Thursday)

Met up with my GE girls for a meal and to surprise px for her bday! Her actual bday falls on 13 dec, so we decided to celebrate with her during this meeting 'cause all of us could make it :D It turned out to be a meal + bday surprise + shopping trip with my girlies hehe ^^

Bought cheapo slippers- 2 pairs for $10! 

I wanted to get flip flops at first (same price) but chloe wanted these jelly slippers instead so I decided to get them too haha. We're always buying the same things when we shop tgt!! The other time we bought the same dress from the go broke or go home warehouse sale hahaha oooops

Headed over to far east plaza to have sushi @ the sushi bar!! Om nom nom. Queued for really long before we managed to get a table omg. So while we were in line, we decided to have our xmas xchg! Ivy was the one who was reading out the story (the story contained lots of 'left's and 'right's, so whenever we hear 'left', we're supposed to pass our gift to the left and so on), and these were what we got after the exchange!

Ivy got my gift from typo hehe, and I got hers! I got a 2014 planner from typo and a ring from f21, but it turned out that Ivy already had 2 planners at home omg T.T Hope she likes the one I got though hehe. I feel like going back to typo to get the planner that I got for the exchange LOL. Continue reading to find out what she got for me!

California maki!

Salmon aburi! This was highly raved by a lot of blogs so we decided to try it. Some even claimed that it's better than the shiok maki @ koh grill and sushi bar ö

But we thought it was a little too dry ): My verdict? Shiok maki's still better, hahaha.

Decided to try their wafu pasta 'cause it seemed quite interesting haha

And it turned out pretty good!! Roe with mayo drizzled on the pasta. Quite an interesting combination that appealed to my palate ^^

Then Ivy brought out the cupcakes and gingerbread men that she (and her friend) baked the day before!

The reindeer decor is so cute hahaha

So while chloe lured px away to the toilet.. Ivy brought the hello kitty tiramisu cake out!

And that was how we surprised px with her bday cake (though we didn't have a candle and all) :D

We then walked to Ion for some photo taking!! :D

We intended for this photo to have a peek-a-boo effect but uhhh I think it didn't turn out as expected LOL

Went to sbux and managed to get a table there!

First time my name got written on sbux drinks - must take photo hahaha

Teehee 1-for-1 is always a good idea

We had the toffee nut latte warm and cranberry white chocolate mocha frappe (: 

Had a long chat session before we moved on to innisfree @ taka!

Meanwhile we walked pass a christmas tree made of what seemed to be rochers from afar but..

They were actually golden macarons from laduree (the dainty shop just behind the xmas tree) like omfg

Heh this was what Ivy got me! :D
