Was kinda undecided between whether I should stay at home or go for the chalet, but in the end I went while they were having the bbq. It's been ages since I've seen everyone (apart from birdy/krist/yunfei and mal) but I decided to swallow up my awkwardness and go for it anyway. They still rmb me aww thanks guys hahahaha
