Tulipmania omg ❞ ♡ Tuesday, May 6, 2014

(25 April, Friday)

So we met in orchard and were supposed to look for mother's day gifts but... We couldn't find any after walking quite abit, so we had to go with our impromptu plans (as usual) and got out of the train at city hall. Didn't know where we could go, so we walked until we reached gardens. I know I've mentioned that I wanted to go to tulipmania, but I didn't think we'd go this day so I didn't bring my cam/polaroid. Had to take all shots with my iPhone but I guess the pictures turned out quite nicely anyway  Subsequent photos are a spam of my face and tulips mwhaha:

View of the tulips from the top!! There was even a bride in her wedding gown taking wedding photos there LOL (if you can see, she's sitting down with her white gown spread over the floor and the groom's by her side in black)

And the caption zomg, I'm a twirl-rist (read: tourist). I don't think anyone would've thought of a cheesier caption hahahaha.

(I was trying to reach for the lemon on th tree but my hands are obviously way too short)

My rose ring in the bg ^^

Ok here's my very pathetic, low-quality gif LOL

Ok and the very expensive dinner we had @ central's no signboard:

Ok what happened after dinner was DAMN boliao because we left clarke quay area in order to find somewhere else to go for dessert/supper. Walked till a certain bus stop until we could see fort canning park and his very good idea was for us to freaking walk through fort canning park back to school. Yes, I'm not kidding you. Our impromptu plans always lead to lots of walking.. But anw it was damn cray cause it was up a hill and that place was really quite creepy at night... Walked there once before in the day but it looked completely unfamiliar to me when t'was dark. Thank god for iPhone flashlights man. Else I'll never be able to bring myself to walk through that eerie flight of stairs...

Was so glad to have heard music (from timbre) as we gradually got out of the park. Any sign of me returning to civilisation was comforting enough for me hahahaha. Walked back to smu lib 'cause t'was probably the only place still open at that time, and did a super lame thing by... Going back to clarke quay again for drinks. Couldn't decide where to go but we eventually settled for aqua nova:

Passion fruit mojito / Peach martini

Cabbed to jurong area just so he could get a pau and went back home. Second consecutive night out till 6am 'cause we spent like hours sitting on the park bench near my house talking about the most random stuff people can talk about. From that night on my sleep cycle's never the same as before LOL I sleep so much now I feel like a koala (koalas sleep more than 20 hours a day, so I guess I haven't reached that standard yet)
