The interns went for the career awareness workshop @ the hbf office (for the first and also the last time) so we decided to go for dinner together after that! Part 1: Strangers Reunion!

Also went to many other places e.g. outram park in search of more cafe to hop and chinatown for chinese desserts and xlb ALL BY FOOT. Thank god we were all dressed pretty casually for the friday workshop O: Time with them is always well spent (:

Had our intern farewell lunch on a thursday, which seemed pretty weird 'cause we still had to come back to work on that friday anyway... But just as much as it's rare for companies to split their interns up into groups for project work & presentation to the senior management, it's also equally rare to see companies present certificates to each and every intern to celebrate the completion of their internship these days.


With Jane & Constance! Thankful for these buddies and them constantly making the effort to catch up during lunch meet-ups ^^

Farewell lunch with colleagues (part 2)


This was really impromptu and I think everyone felt more at ease because our big boss wasn't around HAHA xD


Thanks everyone for the second treat!!!! Goodness t'was so awkward 'cause it's the second time they're bidding me farewell over lunch LOL

Wrote them a card each (I think they were pretty touched hehe, although handwritten cards feel very secondary school-ish) and it made me smile seeing them put up their cards on their workstations using magnets hehe. 

Thanks everyone for making this journey such a memorable one for me (: The work may not have been the best, but I believe I've gotten the most patient and affable colleagues I could ever ask for, and it's these types of interactions with them that I enjoyed and will grow to treasure and miss the most (:

Met up with mal for dinner @ fish and co! Ordered SO much omg I can't believe we managed to finish everything. T'was one of his rare chances left to eat expensive food (before school starts and he has to eat school/home-cooked food most of the time heh).
